Similar to a lot of other mama’s I’ve talked to I went into my first prenatal appointment and was given ZERO information on nutrition during pregnancy! The only recommendation was to take a prenatal and manage symptoms the best I could. Ultimately this led to a lot of googling and anxiety around what was best for my baby and for me. And, being a dietitian, I’m always thinking about what sources are reputable and wanting the most up to date information.
Thus the idea for this course was born. My goal is to give you concise, up-to-date nutrition recommendations on how to nourish yourself and your baby both pre and postpartum, with some tips on self-care and body image sprinkled in there as well. Module 3: Common Pregnancy Symptoms and Nutrition Remedies: food aversions, heartburn, fatigue…they aren’t fun but there are some nutrition tweaks that can help!
